About The e.Lib, Inc. and the
Rudolf Steiner e.Lib
This document provides some basic facts about The e.Lib, Inc. and its
main initiative, the Rudolf Steiner e.Lib.
The e.Lib is the not-for-profit corporation that receives and processes
donations for:
The e.Lib, Inc.,
Rudolf Steiner e.Lib (this initiative),
Fine Art Presentations e.Gallery,
KnowNews dot Net (an anthroposophical newswire service), the
Goethean Science sites, and the
bLogging at the Rudolf Steiner Archive sites.
It also seeks fundraising opportunities for these organizations.
Mission
To:
- Preserve literary and other intellectual works, and
- Make copies of or products based on those works available free of
charge or at the lowest possible cost to the people of the United
States and the rest of the world. (Adapted from the Articles of

Type of Organization
The e.Lib, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation registered in the
state of Michigan. The registered office address of the corporation
is 2343 W. 22nd Street, Fremont, MI 49412-9761 US. The mailing
address is: P.O. Box 1, Fremont, MI 49412-0001.
Tax Status
The e.Lib, Inc. has been granted tax exempt status by the State
of Michigan as a not-for-profit corporation. Our federal exemption
under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code has also
been received. Our Employer Identification Number (EIN #), is 20-0631312.
Volunteers
The e.Lib currently is thankful for the services of James Stewart, who
founded The e.Lib in 1980, as Executive Director. The e.Lib also thanks
Marylin Kraker who is the Assistant Executive Director and Project
Coordinator. Christopher Garrison is the new e.Librarian.

Donation, Gift, and Refund Policies:
The e.Lib, Inc. and the Rudolf Steiner e.Lib solicit and
accept donations and gifts that are consistent with our mission and
that support our core programs, as well as special projects.
Privacy Policy: We are committed to ensuring the privacy,
confidentiality, and security of those who visit and make donations
on our website. We never share your personal or contact information
without your authorization, for example, in the event that you wish
to have your gift publicly acknowledged.
Refund Policy: If you feel that a donation was given in error,
we will do everything we can to resolve the issue, including refunding
the donation.
